I just adore Christmas time and not because of commercialism, but because of the reason for the season. This is when we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This is a special time for me. I have always loved this time of year. It is a wonderful time to celebrate with family and enjoy the blessings God has given us.
What do I like about this time of year? The weather starts to get cooler, we break out the Christmas decorations, tree and lights, we fix yummy meals, we drink hot chocolate, we go and look at light displays, make awesome crafts with the kids, college football bowl games are on, we spend time with our families and share the love of Christ with each other, we exchange gifts and anticipate the arrival of Santa Claus for our small children and we celebrate Jesus' birth.
I am looking forward to what is to come this month and know it will be here and gone before we know it. I am going to embrace it and enjoy every moment!
The reason for the season is Jesus!

I hope you and your family will have an awesome Christmas this year. I like to go to Christmas plays and musicals at church....and especially the Candle light Christmas Eve service. And it is like an extra special blessing when Christmas falls on a Sunday like it does this year!
