O' Christmas Tree, O' Christmas Tree

Below are the verses of an Old German chorus that I have always liked, Oh Christmas Tree.
In addition to the song is a picture of our Christmas Tree for 2011 with my 3 beautiful children, Micah, Alexis and Aiden.
The kids are anxiously awaiting for the arrival of Santa and presents.
I really like the last stanza of O Christmas Tree. He is faithful and true to us and
has richly blessed my home and family and for that I am truly blessed.

O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
Thy leaves are so unchanging;
O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
Thy leaves are so unchanging;
Not only green when summer's here,
But also when 'tis cold and drear.
O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
Thy leaves are so unchanging!

O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
Much pleasure thou can'st give me;
O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
Much pleasure thou can'st give me;
How often has the Christmas tree
Afforded me the greatest glee!
O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
Much pleasure thou can'st give me.

O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
Thy candles shine so brightly!
O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
Thy candles shine so brightly!
From base to summit, gay and bright,
There's only splendor for the sight.
O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
Thy candles shine so brightly!

O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
How richly God has decked thee!
O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
How richly God has decked thee!
Thou bidst us true and faithful be,
And trust in God unchangingly.
O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
How richly God has decked thee!

Lovely post!
I remember my Mom putting the tree in the front window so others could see it from the outside as well as for us to delight in the tree inside. I have really happy memories of my childhood. Hope you do as well and the kids also.
love ya
