Sick day

I awoke this morning at 4am feeling quite queezy and nauseated. I got up and thought I was going to get sick right away. I was very hot and needed some cool air. I went into the kitchen turned on the airconditioner, got a washcloth and ran cold water on it to place on my forehead. I then proceeded to take some medicine for heartburn and acid relief. In addition I had some saltine crackers and then layed on the couch and prayed over myself for healing. I was refusing to get sick. I hate being sick and it is something I don't wish on anyone.

About 30 minutes passed and I ultimately got sick. I then felt a bit of relief, layed back down on the couch and slept for about 2 hours and then was hit with one of the worst episodes of dry heaves I have ever had. I felt like I was dying...and to make it worse, no one in the house knew I was up and sick. I kept it very private. I wanted the family to rest and not have to worry about me. I have since gone more than 3 hours since my last episode and have had a little bit of jello, some more crackers and some water. I have also been laying in my bed resting to regain my strength.

I am supposed to go and wait tables tonight and really need the money and do not want to leave the restaurant high and dry, but if I am not well, I will not be going in. Apparently this bug has been going around at work, so it doesn't surprise me that it attacked me. But I am attacking it as well. I have layed in my bed and prayed and sang worship songs and you know what? I could feel the presence of God so heavily as I called upon Him in my time of sickness and need. He was the set of arms that I needed to have wrapped around me to make me feel better. He won't get sick when he holds his kids, unlike many of us adults with children who get sick. God doesnt need quarantined..the devil and sickness does. HA! Glory! Thank you Lord! I also took 2 Tablespoons of Apple Cider Vinegar to help cure my ailment and I think it is helping. What a wonderful "miracle drug" most people would be wondering why something so cheap would work, but God has allowed this to be a natural remedy. The doctors and pharmacists and FDA would never approve such a cost effective method. They want their money and unfortunately the medical field has become a money hungry racket. I am putting my faith in the things of the Lord and believing in my healing. I don't need a doctor or a prescription. I have Jehovah Raffa, He is my healer and the Word of God declares that "by His stripes, we are healed" Isaiah 53:3-5. He is the great physician and I will call on the name of the Lord and be delivered out of this sickness and attack.

Thank you Lord for your healing! Thank you Lord for your sacrifice! Thank you Lord for your blood that covers us!
