Saturday was KiteFest in Edmond, Oklahoma and we ventured over to Mitch Park to gaze at the kites and try our luck with getting one in the air. One of the highlights of the day was when we observed their kite auction. The kite flyers assocation was auctioning off some items and I bid a dollar and ended up winning 3 colorful kites. Needless to say, Micah and Alexis were both excited. The temperatures were pushing 100, but that didn't damper our fun and we ended the afternoon enjoying some pizza from CiCi's pizza.
